Concert Attire - Tuxedos and Concert Dresses

All students must have concert attire for the upcoming December concert season.

Dresses

    • Dresses will be the same as last year. If you already have a dress, you do not need to take any action.
    • For freshmen (or others who need dresses), we will be at doing fittings this week (please don't wear bulky clothing):
      • Thursday, September 26th – 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in band room loft
    • Dresses will be ordered and delivered to the band room. We’ll let you know when they arrive and are ready for pick-up. Allow approximately 5 weeks from fitting date.
    • Dresses do not come in Short sizes, only Reg or Long.
    • Alterations are the responsibility of the student.
    • We hope to place the dress order Monday, October 7th.
    • Dresses will cost approximately $86 each and will be billed to your account directly.

Tuxedos

  • As in past years, students will wear tuxes purchased from Alyssa’s Bridal & Tuxedo (6808 S Memorial Dr., Suite 356).
  • When you go for fitting and ordering, tell them you’re with Jenks Band and they’ll be able to fit you in the standard tux.
  • To ensure delivery in time, we encourage ordering by October 22nd.
  • Full tuxedos will cost $289 each plus tax (plus $15 for alterations). Parents will pay Alyssa’s bridal directly.

Donations

  • If you have dresses or tuxes (or parts of tuxes) from past or current students that no longer fit and are in good condition, consider donating them to Jenks Band.
  • We have very few donations at the moment, but we may have some items that are available for free in the band room – first come, first served. Come to the band room loft and talk to a uniform parent or Liz Hill lizschumacher36@gmail.com
